Penlac® is a brush-on prescription medication for nail fungus that is applied directly to the outside of the nail. It is the only FDA-approved medication you apply directly on your nails. It works best on mild to moderate fungal infections of the toenails and fingernails.

Your doctor can help you decide if brush-on treatment with Penlac® is right for you. If you can answer "yes" to any of the following questions, talk to your doctor to see if brush-on prescription treatment may be a good choice for you.

Yes	No	I have been diagnosed with mild or moderate nail fungus.
Yes	No	I take other prescription medications and am concerned with drug interactions.
Yes	No	I realize that treated nails take time to grow out and be clear of infection (Up to a year for toenails; about six months for fingernails).
Yes	No	I am motivated to treat my nail fungus infection so that I can have healthier, more attractive nails and enjoy the gym, beach, pool, spa or wearing sandals.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

Penlac® is a topical prescription for mild to moderate fungal nail infections. Regular visits to your health care professional for the removal of unattached, infected nails may be required. If you have diabetes, it is important to talk to your health care professional about nail care. The most common side effects are redness around nails, nail shape change, irritation, ingrown toenail and discoloration.
